Our mission
Bring the lab to the people the lab keeps missing
We exist to remove the trip. Residents in assisted living and personal care homes, homebound and disabled patients, and busy clinical partners all deserve accurate, respectful specimen collection without a car ride, a waiting room, or a missed order. Our certified phlebotomists come to the room, the residence, or the job site — collect with hospital-grade technique, document cleanly, and deliver to your reference lab.
The second half of our mission is people. We train new phlebotomists and biometric screeners, and we run competency classes that help personal care home teams pass survey and care confidently. Better-trained hands mean better care long after we leave.

20+ years of multidisciplinary clinical, emergency, surgical, and supervisory experience across hospital systems, operating rooms, emergency departments, and long-term care. LaSonya founded PowerStix to bring hospital-grade collection standards to residents and homebound patients who cannot travel to a draw station — and to teach those same standards in the classroom.
